2nd Thursday of the Month: Country Blues with Robert Davis & Friends

Starting November 14, 2019 I will be hosting a session a monthly session at the Bond Pub inside the Crossways building at Bloor and Dundas. This is part of a regular weekly series with other fine musicians (Donne Roberts, Chris Staig, Dave McManus) hosting on the other weeks. Look forward to special guests at my second Thursday session. Bill Heffernan takes the fifth Thursday of the month as needed.

Got to play guitar once again for our annual harmonica jam at the Dufferin Grove Farmers’ Market last Thursday. Organized by Kevin Hamilton of Shared Harvest Community Farm in Dunnville which is the site of the annual Harmonica Retreat. Kevin is also a a farmer and a vendor at the market. Later we were joined by Ryan Seaton¬†and Saulis Tribinevicius.

I recorded 10 songs in Cuba with three other musicians including Fraser Melvin and two Cubans: Yasel Giralt and Pedro Perez. Look for a CD launch in the late fall. While we were there we had a great show at Casa Obrador.
